Bokel Tea Estate |

Another Jokai garden, the estate
derives its name from the Assamese word "Bowkool", the local
name for a tree with small fragrant spider-like flowers.
Bokel Tea Estate produces premium CTC teas throughout the
year. Located in Dibrugarh district in the quality belt of
Upper Assam, it has a planted area of approximately 744
hectares; this makes it the largest estate of the Jokai group.
Teas produced here are famous for their strong gutty liquor
and golden colour, which represent the traditional Assamese
goodness.
