The Panitola estate, also
belonging to the Jokai group, is named after a pond located
near Panitola Tea Estate.
This garden, located in Tinsukia district of Assam, boasts of
an ideal blend of quality clone and seed blocks. With a
planted area of 660 hectares, Panitola has been one of the
most popular marks in the Jokai group over the last five
decades.
The world-famous Panitola Clone (P-126A) has been developed at
this estate, and since then propagated in most quality
Orthodox-producing estates in Assam. The Panitola mark has
become popular among the leading importers in Europe for its
brisk, bright cups and unique flavour.
